Leaving.

I'm leaving the fandom. While I was away, in the vacation, I've grown to love something (or someone) else, and I just don't like Twilight that much anymore (I almost hate it). I don't think I would ever be able to write again, or make graphics for the Twilight Fandom. I'm not sure if I'm even going to watch Breaking Dawn Part 2.
You can still find me on Twitter and Facebook, if you want to know what is my new passion. I'm not going to delete this blog, but you won't hear from me again.
I'm sorry.

I won!

I won the contest! I was the only participant, but still, I won!

I'm going to publish my entry on ff.net, but only after I get home from the vacation.

Vacation.

I'm going on a vacation in two days and I won't come home until August 11, so there won't be any new posts on the blog until then.
You can still submit fics through the Rec Submission Form, adopt banners and send recs to my email, but don't expect me to reply until I come back.
Until then. MWAH!

Weekly Recs.

Howdy! These are this week's recs. These stories were chosen by me, given that it's the first 'Weekly Recs' and nobody has submitted any fics through the Rec Submission Form.

Jasper Fics of the week
Porcelain People by ur.new.bestfriend.XD - because it was updated today and it's totally confusing, but really very good.
Torturing Me by fightforAllTheWrongReasons - it was inspired by a banner I made and it's just so good!
Saint and Saviour by Jasper1863Hale - it's one of the few slash stories I read and I love it!
Vamp Fics of the week
Monster by The.Bloody White.Wolf.xoxo - because it's very well written and I believe it deserves some attention, given that the author has been harassing me to add the story to my community and give her my opinion about it.
Wolf Fics of the week
How Quickly is Forever by Willow2883 - I beta'd a chapter of this story through PTB, and I must say that it's something different. Very well written and original, because I've never read something like this.
Human Fics of the week
Wisp by Cris - because it's like The Vampire in the Basement, but in human edition and a little bit different. Like, totally different. But it's awesome.

~Secrets Don't Keep Friends~ by KTBass

http://www.fanfiction.net/s/4805865/1/Secrets_Dont_Keep_Friends
Summary: AH. Everyone has secrets, and Bella Swan is no different. For months she's kept quiet, but the arrival of blunt Edward Cullen forces her to come clean with terrifying consequences. Secrets push friends away, but can honesty bring them back? Complete.

This is my first rec ever. Why did I choose this fic? Because, whenever I thought about writing a rec, I instinctively thought about this story. If I remember correctly, it was one of the first fics I ever read. It has always been and will always be one of my favorites.
<Of course, I have other not-so-popular favorites (and that's the purpose of these recs, making the not-so-popular very good fics more popular, even if they have been completed ages ago), but this one is special.
I simply love it. There isn't another story that I've re-read so many times.
So why do I love it?
First, because of the characters.
*Bella is like canon Bella, with a bit of a backbone when she's with Edward. With Jasper, she's a doormat, except in some cases.
*Then there is Edward, who in the beginning shows off as being a little emo, but he's really cute. He's way better than Stephenie Meyer's Edward.
*Then Jasper. I don't even know what to say about him. I think that this story has one of the best Jasper's ever. In the beginning he's a total asshole, that until we find out why he is like that. Then we see him suffer and we realize that he can be sweet, too. He just doesn't want to show it, because he has some secrets, too.
~What makes me keep re-reading this story is how real it is. I've read very few stories that I found realistic, and this is one of them, because it shows how some almost insignificant secrets can destroy your life, especially if someone (who used to be your friend) knows about them.
It's not too fluffy, but it doesn't make me want to cry, either. It's just... perfect.
I give a plus point to this story because Jasper and Bella call eachother J and B. No fancy nicknames. Just J and B.
Here's a short paragraph if I didn't convince you:

& Her hand had just reached for his when the door opened again. Edward stiffened and Bella automatically flinched, not even having to look to see who stood in the doorway.
Jasper and Alice approached her side. Jasper wore his usual uniform and usual scowl. Alice, though, was head to toe in black, from her knee high boots, black tights and pencil skirt to her shredded black peasant blouse and black leather jacket.
"You're sitting in my seat," he said, staring down at her.
At first she froze, her mouth hanging open as she tried to remember what to say. A small squeeze of her hand was enough to remind her.
"Mr. Varner switched us," she said, grateful that her voice had only trembled a little bit.
"But why?" Alice asked.
Meeting Alice's eyes was easier. It was easier to feel anger and betrayal than it was with Jasper, pathetic though that was. "Because you're a distraction," she said, simply.
"You are such a – "
"Mr. Hale, that is enough. Take your new seat with Miss Brandon."
"What if I can't see the board?" Jasper asked, placing his hand on the edge of the desk and leaning on it, still not looking away from Bella. &

^Go and read it if you like an E/B story with a little bit of Jasper. Or even if you hate E/B stories. Just read it. 'Cause, seriously, this is a must read, and it doesn't have many chapters, only 20 plus Epilogue.

Simple Line Border.

In this tutorial, I am going to show you how to do a frame like this:
You can use GIMP to do it, too. Go here for that tutorial.

1. Open PF and open your image. I'm going to use this.
2. Go here:
Make a selection. I'm going to make it like this:
3. Go to Filters-Frame-Simple Frame. Select a color, adjust the opacity and the width (it looks good if it's 1 or 2) and you're done!
You can make even 2 borders using the same method, making one with the width 1 and the other with the width 2.

Doctor Who.

I've been re-watching some of my favorite Doctor Who episodes from series 5, and... You do know what Doctor Who is, right? TARDIS? Amy? Rory? Madman With a Box? No? Shame on you. If you don't know what I'm talking about, you shouldn't continue reading this.
However, if you do know who The Doctor is, you're my new best friend.
So, I just watched The Time of Angel/Flesh and Stone and I noticed something. You know, in The Time of Angels, in the beginning when Amy looks at that 4 seconds recording of the Angel from the ship? (who later becomes Angel Bob)
'That which holds the image of an Angel becomes itself an Angel' and 'The eyes are not the windows of the soul, they are the doors' and the Doctor tells Amy to look at the Angel, but to not look at the eyes.
Still, Amy looks at it's eyes and the Angel climbs inside her mind, as the Doctor explains in Flesh and Stone when Amy's dying and she has to close her eyes.
But, if the Angel from the ship is in Amy's mind, then how can the Doctor talk to it? The Angel from the ship uses Bob's voice to talk, right? And he talks to the Doctor while Amy's eyes are open and she's dying. So, how can Angel Bob be in her mind and talk to the Doctor?
Yes, it's sure it was the Angel from the ship that climbed inside her mind, because right after she stops that recording, she says that 'there's something in her eye', and then after they figure out that those statues are all Angels, she thinks that her hand is stone. And it's just obvious that it's Angel Bob inside her mind, because he's the only Angel that has that calm face. See the image below.
Do you understand what I'm saying?
Oh, and another thing I just noticed. How come that, when the Angels go up to the Byzantium and fall into that crack because they forget about the gravity, Angel Bob has this calm face, while the other Angels are like... I don't know. See for yourself:

Also, in the same episode, when the Doctor and River and Octavian leave, and Amy stays with the Clerics, and the Doctor tells her to remember what he told her when she was 7, how does he know that she was 7 in The Eleventh Hour? I don't recall her telling him that.

OH. MY. GOD!

Oh. My. God!
This is like... the best thing I've ever seen! I can't... This isn't... Ugh, I can't form a proper sentence, because this is just so good and I can't wait to see it and I'm angry because we have to wait so much for this to come out and I just can't stop replaying it.
Bella is just (that first line with 'After 18 years of being bla bla bla' that's just lame. I don't know why. I just don't like it. But otherwise, Bella's beautiful. I wonder how the hunting's going to be)... and that water (was that Benjamin?)... and the Denali's... and Bella talking to Nessie (what the hell happened to her voice?)... and Aro (can't they get his hair right for once? I only liked his hair in New Moon. But, regardless of the hair, he's still creeppy.)... and Jacob ('A lot of red eyes around here.' *lmao*)... and then Alice's vision (was that Jasper's voice? *squeal* )... and the witnesses (who's who?)... and THERE'S GOING TO BE A FREAKING FIGHT! WHAT THE HELL?
It's awesome that there's gonna be a fight, but it's not in the book, and... and... what if someone dies? I don't want anyone to die!
And it's going to be the best film ever. I can feel it. It looks just as I imagined it when I read the book. Oh, wait, no. It's better! I don't think it can get any better than this. And I can't wait to see it! Why does it have to be so long before the release? And why do they have to torture me with these trailers? *cries*
What do you think about the trailer?

How to make Cut-Out Banners.

I'm going to show you how to make this: out of this:
I tried to do this with GIMP using this tutorial, it took me like three days to flip the brushes and figure out how to install the fram, and then I got the idea that I should try to do it with PF. It took me ten minutes with PF.
Of course, for this banner or wallpaper or whatever it is, I used other tutorials, too:
- This blending method to put Lucy Hale on it.
- This blending method to put Jasper on it.
In this tutorial I'll show you how to make the frame.
You're going to need 3 images: a to-be-framed image, a cute little brush and a grungy frame.
1. Open PF, go to File-Open and find the image you want to be framed, then go to Image-Image Size. Write it's size down or try to keep it in mind.
You have the size? Good.
Close the image. You don't need it for now.
2. Go to File-New and open a new image with white background. Make sure that it's slightly bigger than the to-be-framed image. In my case, the to-be-framed image is 800x450, so the new image will be 820x494. Make it transparent using this. (I left it white so you can see)
3. Open the brush you want to use. Mine is this:
Make sure to resize it so it's not too big.
Go to Edit-Copy, then go to your white image and Edit-Paste Special-Mask.
4. Move your brush to the corner you want it in, flip if necessary (using these), then repeat the steps so you have a brush in each corner.
Your image should look like this:
5. Open the frame you want to use. Mine is this:
Resize it. My image with the brushes is 820x494, so the frame will be 800x496.
Now go to Edit-Copy, then go to your image with the brushes and Edit-Paste Special-Mask. Move the brushes around until it looks good.
Your image probably looks like this:

I used the Eraser Tool to make it look more 'believable', if you know what I mean. It looks like this.
6. Open your to-be-framed image, go to Edit-Copy. Activate your image with the brushes and the frame, and click on the first layer, it's name is Background.

Go to Edit-Paste and move everything around until it looks good. Use the Eraser Tool if needed, and then click on this to get rid of the white spaces. It's better if you use GIMP for that, though. Add text, effects, whatever you want, and you're done.

Blending Different Images.

I'm going to show you how to blend two or more images that have different background, because most of the blending tutorials use images with the same background, but I think there are cases when you want to use different images.
1.First, open PFS, then go to File-Open and open your images.
I will use this and this. Let's call them image 1 and image 2.
Choose an image, this will be your base (you're going to put the other image on this), in my case, that's image 1.
If your base is smaller than the other image, you need to resize the other image. Find out which is the right size this way: change the size (Image-Image Size), then Edit-Copy and Paste it onto the base. Then click this to remove the image from the base:  Repeat these steps until you find the right size.
2. Now that you have the size, go to Edit-Copy and Paste it onto the base image, and move it around to where you want it to be. It should look like this:

3. The third step is to remove that ugly black background from image 2. Click the Erase Tool:
(People usually use the Clone Stamp Tool to do this, but it just doesn't work for me. The Erase Tool does the same thing, anyway.)
Set the radius (the bigger it is the better it erases) and the pressure, and then start erasing the background. Be careful!
After you're finished, it should look like this:

That's it, you're done!
I like to use the Blur Tool to make it look smoother.
I use this method to all of my banners that include blending, like this and this. In the latter I used this tutorial to put Jasper on the banner.

Meet PhotoFiltre.

The program that I use to make graphics is called 'PhotoFiltre', and it looks like this:
I've been using this program for a long time, more than three years, so I know what I'm talking about.
At first I used the simple PhotoFiltre, but then I found PhotoFiltre Studio X. Been using it ever since, and it looks like this:
There are only a few differences between the two: PF Studio X has brushes and more features, and it uses layers, which, if you ask me, is a very good thing.
You can download it from HERE.
Now I'm not going to start explaining what each tool is; I believe that the best way to learn is to test them.
And now you can ask me why. Why do I use PF Studio instead of Photoshop, GIMP, Paint Shop Pro or any other much better program.
The answer is simple: I've tried them, and I don't like them. They're too complicated for my simple mind.
I'm learning how to make banners in GIMP.
I sometimes use Dreamlight Photo Editor and PhotoInstrument. Dreamlight is good if you want to add special effects to your image, and PhotoInstrument is good to change hair color, add make-up, etc.
I used PI to make this out of this.

Hi!

Hello everyone!
So, as you can see, I decided to make myself a blog.
Go, navigate, read my stories, stare at my banners and wallpapers, or just read my tutorials. You're welcome to do anything you want.
